Hayley orrantia is a native of America. She's primarily an actress, but she's also an acrobat and songwriter. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". However, she considers herself to be primarily an artist. Music is her first love, that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. At the age of 12, her music took more serious form and she started training professionally. After experimenting with songwriting, she only recorded her first album of songs at age 14. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. By learning Spanish and writing songs she tries to preserve the tradition. The singer recorded an Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her an impressive four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage in Seattle. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of live shows.
