Hayley is an American performer and actress. The majority of people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She is, however, a music lover. Music is her first love, she claims; it's something she's dabbled at when she was nine years old. When she was 12 the world of music had become significant enough that she was able to start training professionally. After some experimentation with songwriting, she only recorded her album of songs at age 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic roots, although she was raised in English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she tries to maintain the spirit of her culture. One of her songs was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut Season of The X Factor. Orrantia got four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after being selected from her YouTube entry. Though she initially auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed into groups for the remaining part of auditions. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth live week.
